Ticket price for Bryan Adams concert

12/30/2010 09:05

The event managing company, JPR says the price of tickets might be some where between NRs. 2000 to 3500. It even claims that the prices might go higher, as they need to create an international level arena for the coming concert program of Bryan Adams. He is scheduled to visit Kathmandu this February after finishing his India tour. He along with his 25 group members are scheduled to come to perform the concert. As per the schedule released by JPR, Nepalese band would be playing from 2pm to 6pm that day. Bryan is scheduled from 7pm to 9pm.

Nepalese people, specially students who are from cities other than Kathmandu are sure to find the ticket rates expensive. The higher prices of the tickets might decrease the number of participants in the concert, which we do not want. Programs like this occur once in a decade in Nepal, and we do not want to discourage further programs by showing  lower number of participants. And for this, the program should be targeted to everybody, not only to elite Kathmandu class people. I request JPR Events to lower the price as much as they can, so that more number of youths would show up.
